Formed by the Council of Ministers of Ukraine in November of 1918, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine is considered one of the finest symphony orchestras in Eastern Europe. Since 1993, the NSOU has released more than 100 recordings including both Ukrainian and international repertoire, of which several received the highest acclaim. The NSOU has performed throughout the world and is currently under the artistic direction of Volodymyr Sirenko with Chief Conductor of the Orchestra Oleksandr Hornostai as its Managing Director & Producer.
